Follow the next few suggestions for a pedicure at home and you’ll be wriggling your toes with glee by the time you’re done. Things you’ll need: Nail polish remover Shampoo Salt Foot scrub cream/ soap Pumice stone (jhaanwa) Nail brush Modelling clay (the kind used by kids in school) Nail file and clipper Cuticle removing stick Moisturising cream/ olive oil/ Vaseline Nail polish
Procedure: Remove any nail polish you may have on.
Fill a small tub with warm water; add a teaspoon of salt and a bit of shampoo to it to make it foamy. The salt adds a relaxing element to the pedicure. Cut the nails and file them smooth. Do not file nails too short as that can lead to ingrown toenails. Soak your feet in the soapy water for about seven minutes.
